The first time gay activist Qween Amor dance-protested in front of Chinatown’s homophobic Black Israelite group, he was arrested for indecent exposure. Today, though, he’s declaring victory over the hate group. While Amor keeps coming back to the corner of 7th and H streets NW, he says the Black Israelites are nowhere to be found.
Amor thinks that the Black Israelites, who belong to the religion’s Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge sect, might just be preaching on some other street corners. The ISUPK didn’t respond to a request for comment.
